This looks interesting. I live in Aomori, the northernmost prefecture of Honshū and I would love to see such a system implemented here. We get LOTS of snow here and the snow removal service is... not very good.

And here we are in Montreal can’t even figure out how to pave a road in 2020.

I regularly have to dodge a congeries of potholes of various makes and models. I cannot imagine the conscientiousness or tax burden that would go into having well maintained roads anymore
