Same for social media really, personally I have stopped using the social social media for a while now and at first it seems like you won’t survive without but eventually, life goes on.
Hardest thing is to find an alternative to keep you busy, depending on how much you used social media you can fit multiple hobbies or interests in there.
Now I am very well aware that HN is also a social media of sorts, but I do find it a very different social media than the likes of Instagram or TikTok.
