Of special note is Ann Telnaes of the Washington Post who won the Pulitzer for Illustrated Reporting and Commentary, who no longer works at the Post as she resigned in protest after one of her cartoons was killed by editors, presumably because it depicted owner Jeff Bezos in a negative light: https://anntelnaes.substack.com/p/why-im-quitting-the-washin...

For "Most Obvious Pulitzer Prize" I would nominate:

Breaking News Photography: Doug Mills of The New York Times

For a sequence of photos of the attempted assassination of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump, including one image that captures a bullet whizzing through the air as he speaks.

gaws

Evan Vucci must have been disappointed to not even get a nod for the other newsworthy photograph[1] from the day.

There is more independent journalism on YouTube these days. Are they not covered?

Who would you cite as having done significant investigative reporting on Youtube? (setting aside the Pulitzers for poetry, music, fiction, non-fiction, none of which would be first published there...)
