“I came up with the idea of putting my little knights to sleep. I separated their legs and jaws from their abdomens, and then put them back in place with the help of thin wires. This way I could dress the beetles in costumes, knee-high boots, and put swords in their hands.”

Impressive stop-motion photography, especially for 1912. If the title didn’t grab you, give it 60 seconds of your time.

Okay, this is not what I was expecting. People joke that I have a special mindset for being able to shoot a lot of timelapse, but this is an entirely different level of special mindset. That's up there with the guy that made the paper 777 scale model plane out of manila folders. Some people just have a sticktoitiveness that reaches super human levels.
