I appreciate the sentiment. I am trying not to get this post banned because it is actually a great way to help founders grow their companies!

I'm guessing this is sarcasm. I am not here to talk politics either. Just a way to help startups grow. MENA countries (Palestine included) are near the third largest tech hub in the world. They have worked in YC startups and are insanely talented. I have had them beat out FAANG engineers for roles in the United States.

Palestinians are a people so yes it is legal. That is like saying is it legal to employ Russians.

Isn't it generally illegal in the US with some exclusions for smaller companies for an employer to recruit new employees in a way that discriminates against them because of their race, color, religion, sex (including transgender status, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information?

you can hire people remotely from all parts of the world. Also, MENA is a region of the world and this is inclusive not exclusive.

No, it's not illegal. There is no law saying you can't hire Palestinians, no matter how hard Israelis try to get you to believe that. Thanks.

I would be surprised if it were straightforwardly legal to employ or contract with Russians in the post Ukraine invasion landscape.

It is.

This is not a political post. It is just a post to discuss a tech opportunity.
Strange that a tech piece about a company would get so much flak. Would the people flagging this please write a piece explaining why collective punishment is fair and/or has ever made any situation better in the short/medium/long term?
